Born in 1989 in Lisbon, Portugal.
Driven by light and shadow, Alexandre Caetano specializes in black and white imagery, capturing fleeting moments that reveal both the vastness of nature and the intimacy of human presence within it.
Graduated in Economics, yet driven by a strong passion for the visual arts, he began exploring photography at a young age with a film point-and-shoot camera. Encouraged by his father and grandfather, from whom he learned the craft’s technical aspects, Alexandre developed a deep appreciation for composition and light.
Based in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, his work has been featured in exhibitions, publications, and collaborations that celebrate the art of seeing beyond color. Every photograph is an invitation to pause — to rediscover the world.
